happy tina and rocky year

whoo! i cant sleep! haha.. its the very first day of new year and im already losing my voice. blame it on the snacks and the karaoke system. yeap..i've been singing non-stop ever since the system was up. sing and sing for hours.. k box style! *cough*
anyways.. i still feel pretty numb bout the end of ivp.. not feeling exuberant or any of that sort.. neither am i depressed. hmm..maybe im still living in denial. haha.. and my dear girls.. dont worry about the pictures.. i'll find a way to send all the pictures to you.. pls be patient. :D





okie.. new year updates!!!!!!
new year started for me on the 26th.. bie had a crazy time lao-ing yu shen..was a good way to say goodbye to BICU too i guess.. the place where we could sleep and relaz.. i bet the dota people would be damn sad. hehe..





NEW YEAR's EVE! 28TH FEB! the day of reunion and more singing... cause.. my dinner was at KBOX!!!!! what cool relatives i have.. even though they sang ridiculously old wayangs.. i still think they're really cool. haha..
the funniest thing happened when we were lao-ing yushen..we're suppose to say some auspicious words while lao-ing.. and samantha suddenly shouted "da jie faster get married!". *shockness* auspicious huh! haha
dropped by at my grandmother's(maternal side) for snacks and lunch..and we saw this puny mini car.. SMART. whoo!im so amazed and got all excited when my mom suggested to my dad to buy me one! wahahahahahaa.. and then my dream was crashed when my dad just replied with a....cough.



CHU YI... day one
woke up with a really bad headache.. but everything was great! wore my qipao top.. so did mama.. haha..i think we shld all practice the art of dressing-for-occasions. really puts u in the mood. haha.




then it was the traditional 'jing cha' ceremony. haha.. every year we do this and we haf to say some nice words for my dad. this lil 'ceremony' wiht my dad sitting on the chair.. always reminds me how my dad is really the mm.. KING of the house. haha.. he's like the only man.. and the sole breadwinner for the family.





off we go to ah ma house.. ah ma house ah ma house.. haha.. ok.. since its the dog year.. tina and rocky came along..they even got hongbaos can!!! :D but for some weird reason.. rocky kept barking and barking non stop.. seems to be afraid of something outside of the house.. cause he was like hiding under the tables.. and running to vivien for security. funny.. his horror can be well illustrated with the pictures. he used to be cute................

went over to alvin's house to bai nian.. and then he came over to my house.. filled with relatives from my maternal side. and today i realised that i have more than 10 cousins.. all of which i've never seen in my life. anyways..we gambled with them.. alvin and i were the bankers... and guess what.. we won 360+ bucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! happiness.
day ended with k session with my lil sisters.......

sp match was fantastic!~! i so love my team..everythign about it! gosh.. hope this never ends.. :D could really feel God's presence within us! praise the lord!! :D the best bday gift ever! hehe..
we were so high during and after the game!!!! so high until i can forget abotu my car in school. yups.. i actually walked all the way from sch to ang keong.. and then from ang keong to home sweet home.. without even realising that i left my dad's camry in school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! do not call me blur.. i was just high.. do not laugh at me!!!! cause its my birthday today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10 yrs of friendship

met up with the primary school peeps today! i really treasure each and everyone of them man.. like i said before.. they're like family.. even though we dun meet up all the time.. but whenever we do.. we just feel close.
this is not surprising since we've been with each other for 10 yrs?? haha.. and we're thinking of having a huge gathering at st.hilda's primary.. because its our 10th year together.. since pri 5. really hope everything works out. gosh..

this is really the first time that i actually felt God work within us. i mean everythign that happened felt that there was a higher power controlling us.
from the beginning of ivp there was just something there to bring us down.. from the 1 set to NYP, NUS vs NP, to the game we lost to NTU. looking back.. all this were just testing our faith because it shld not have been the case.
we did not let go.. we prayed and prayed.. and because of this rule in ivp that they will only compare the sets between the teams that are tied, as for our case, it was NTU, NP and TP, we're IN!
everyone's ECSTATIC! we're in girls! good job!!!! :D

lets all keep our faith and play for GOD. we've hit rock bottom and the only way left is up. we've got nothign to lose anymore.. lets treasure this chance given by the Lord God almighty.

guess it's all over...im sorry team. i noe volleyball is a team game and all.. but i really do feel sorry..
i just hate to end the last volleyball match in my life this way.
im definitely going to miss everyone.. everything that we did together and all the fun we had.

my mama is another year older! and she's hippier and cooler than ever! she just came back from her bday celebration with her gal pals.. she came in the room with her bags and bags of bday gifts and i got all excited and ripped everythign open! wahaha..
and im super jealous of her man!!!
she got like 4 necklaces and a bracelet from SK jewellery, 2 pairs of earrings from tianpo, she got bird's nest and mushrooms (huh?), and last but not least, she got the CURIOUS perfume!!!!! the one i always wanted!
dun care, im gonna use it.

gosh..suddenly the gift vivien and i wanna give her seems so small.. literally.
its 2 puny pet plants.. :(
u must be wondering why we bought plants... the thing is, my mama always had a thing for gardening. so ya.

NP match was really great today!!! we were super high and all! the interesting thing about vball is that every match.. u feel different. really different! and indeed.. anything can happen unexpectedly..because quote, the ball is round, and quote.
no doubt, im super proud of the team this year.
looking back, all the hard work we put in were all worth it. all the bondings, all the craziness and even the unhappy moments contributed to what we are today.
grace said somthing to me today that really motivated me.. even though i had not much confidence, grace was still there reminding me to be confident bout myself. it may not haf meant as much to her as it is to me.. and im no longer afraid to make mistakes..i'll do my best and move for every ball! haha.. no matter how slow i am.. i'll still go all out for it.. hehe..
the team will always be there whatever u do and we've been through so much together.. even when u make mistakes, we know its not on purpose and that u'll learn from it.
we support each other.. and thats the beauty of team work.

we won NYP 3-1.
we actually lost 1 set! ahh! so not-suppose-to.
anywayz, i still enjoyed myself. we were filled with unlimited energy but we were super messy. its weird.. something was just off today.
but i have faith that things will turn around. things WILL get better.

i've never been so troubled in my life before. everything just seems to be getting worse. why must all this happen now?? ivp, projects, renovation, birthdays?
but nevertheless, im still trying to be optimistic.

never ever would i have thought that i could jog 33 rounds the track in tp in the wee hours of the night. Dr william tan is definitely an inspiration man.. everytime he go pass me in the track, it just makes me wanna persevere and push myself to the limit! and when he hit the 24hour target, the whole school cheered! a new guinness record!! :D
and i would never have wished for a better team to go through this event other than the one i have now. TP VB GALS 2006! we had a fantastic night of bonding and just non stop fun. it just sucks to think that all this might be ending soon. :(
ying ying conquered 40 rounds! and the way she encouraged me really touched me. like her determination was way stronger than mine and it just made me wanna go for another round. but my knee got the better of me and i could not not stop.

whoohoo! goodbye 2005..:(
2005 was filled with lots of super highs and super lows..but yup..its the end of 2005, a new beginning into 2006! oh yeah man! hehe. spent new years eve with alvin darlz! we went to EAST COAST MAC drive through and went to the ROMANTIC carpark. we started talking about 2005, recapping our mistakes and what we achieved. its really scary how fast time flies.
rushed down to expo for mambo jambo countdown! when i saw the seconds on the screen, i was getting super excited and out of control! screaming like crazy.. and when we 3..2..1.. HAPPY NEW YEAR!! alvin and i hugged and for some weird reason, i felt like crying.. not that kind of "i dont want 2006! i hate 2006! yucks" way, more of a im-so-glad-im-in-ur-arms-in-2006 way.
2006 is definitely gonna be interesting. im graduating from temasek poly and starting a new chapter. i have too many things that i wanna do..
im definitely going to study make up. everything.. from fashion make up to stage and drama or special effects. i mean it has been my interest since like duno when.
whee.. its gonne be exciting! i cant wait.
oh yes. im going to hit my terrifying 20 this year. no longer a teen. :( im a ty! -_- haha
my only resolution this year is to achieve make up artistry diploma. no more. :D so i'd make sure it happens.
